700 Polaris EFI Need big help

Well since you are already in a fix I'm with Sten..tighten the bolt back up against the punch and give it a blow with a hammer, nothing crazy hard. The try tighening a little more, hit with hammer,tighten,hit..the vibration should bring it off. You should find that each time you hit with the hammer the bolt will loosen a little(ie the clutch is coming off). You might be suprised..most time this method works better than just trying to tighen the crap out of the puller and will minize the chances of stripping the bolt or clutch if done properly.
I would suggest a slide hammer puller but that would just beat the hell out of the main bearings and do more damage.

Good luck. Again don't get too crazy with the blows...remember the crank and mains are taking the brunt of the blow..if you can get someone in there to pull on the clutch while you do it any dampening of the shock can't hurt...

Well, kiss the fiber bushings good bye, but Hell, that is cheap reapir if you get teh primary off, make sure you clean the sloppy grease ou of the EBS too, re-pack with fresh grease

i had a similar problem on a sled clutch problem had to have it electrical discharge it out and retreaded...............biggest problem is with that is had to take motor out of chassis and have the whole motor submerged

Another technique you can use is filling the hole in the clutch with oil and then screw in your puller or bolt. Basically you're using hydraulics to remove the clutch, this will only work with the wheeler sitting on it's side obviously.... I had a friend who had the same brilliant idea as your buddy, only his was on his sled, he ended up having the cut the clutch off the crankshaft.
