Question Stripped prop shaft yoke

We have recently ran into a problem of stripped prop shaft yokes on 2006-2007 Sportsman 500's.This has happened to four 500's in the last month.(the yoke that slips on trans output shaft)The strange thing is we have older 500's with lots of miles and they are no problem with these yokes.(1996-2004 yrs) The 2008 have different part numbers so the must have changed something...

how or why are they stripping? from jumping, out of balance shaft, too much flex in the drive line?? that sounds weird for sure.

The shafts should not be out of balance,we do not jump our atv's (one of the riders with problem is 74 years old )This is on all the 06-07 atv's we own.The 05's,08's with about same miles do not have the problem..

I'm replacing my rear prop shaft yoke for the 3rd time . This time it's so stripped that the prop shaft won't even turn seems to be a bad design .
