05 Sportsman 400, over 4500 miles... no major issues what so ever! Usual maintenance on wearing parts, that's all. Love it!!

98 Super Sport 488 snowmobile, over 9000 miles!!! Engine has never been redone and runs flawlessly! Clutch rebuilt last year. New front suspension, rear needs to be done this year.

I'm a Polaris fan for life!

Both quads have over 1000 miles on them. Mixed riding from nasty to nice and a lot of chores thrown in for good measure. ATP had a belt go. I think my son was riding in high gear when we were in some slow going stuff. Other than that, they've been excellent.

Seams like more issues with the 700/800's vs the lower cc wheelers.

mine said i had a full tank when it was almost empty. so i took the front fender off, front rack. then you have to remove the pvt vent that hanges over the gas tank and hides the fuel sensor. i took the bolts out that hold the tank in. but couldnt get the tank out. so i just removed the 6 or 8 screws that hold the sensor in. carefully moved it this way and taht way to get the sensor and flot out. after i got it out. i just moved the arm up and down a few times. and reinststalled it. and it it worked. to my suprise. i got the exstended warranty on it when that happend but havent had a problem with it yet. but im waiting for like the day after the warranty runs out. then things will happen. they all ways do.. lol

good luck. hope this helps.

I average trading in my machine every 12-18 months.

2009 XP 850 - Just over 150 miles. (just getting broke in)

2008 800 (his) - Sold at about 1300 miles (1 blown belt-rider caused, otherwise flawless)

2008 800 (hers) - currently about 700 miles (leaky water-pump less than 100 miles, flawless since)

2006 500 (his) - Sold at about 1500 miles (no issues)

2006 500 (hers) - Sold at about 950 miles (no issues)
