Lightbulb 550 XP seat removal

Ok, this is going to sound really stupid....how do you remove the seats on the new 550 xp's? The older style polaris that I used to had the latched in back. These have no visible latches or anything. I tried lifting up on the seat but I didnt want to break anything.

There is a place in the back to grab - almost like a handle. Pull up and back.

Thumbs up

Oh yeah...had that same issue with mine. Didn't know how to get the seat off...and went to the Owner's Manual.

As the manual states...use both hands one at the back...and the second right off to the side corner. Pull up with both at that same time.

This is the first ATV that did not have a lever to remove the seat.

Mine was very hard to remove as well, I added some clear grease to the holes now it comes off with just a little pull.

Don't pull just on the rear of the seat. Read the manual. It says one hand on the rear of the seat and one on the side. Pull it off from the side, not the rear. Then it won't snap back and hurt your little fingies.......
