Reaplcing Bendix starter drive

Well I decided to grease up the old one and give it a go and its working without issue!!!! and I can tighten all the bolts no issue. I wonder if the aftermarket one was a hair off or something.

Godd news is all is well

Default bendix bushings

i also need to know the other bushing number for the back bushing mine broke bendixs came out locked the motor up . any idea ?

#3083669 starter drive bushing is used in the recoil assembly and also in the crankcase. OPT

thx for your info i took it apart this moring and got to looking closer at the bushing on the bindix and they are the same . its a shame i,ve looked at a lot off parts manuals none show that back bushing but you just help me make sure that it was so thx for your help.

On the Polaris parts website OR Cycle Parts Warehouse the bushing is shown in the recoil housing breakdown and the other is shown in the engine cases breakdown list. OPT
