Default insurance rates?

I'm reading through older posts on insurance rates - and alot of them are under $200/yr for full coverage.........I just got quoted $1034 full coverage (for 2 xp's) from Geico and $700 from Progressive.......??????????

I go through Allstate and pay $230 for an 01 Handa Foreman and a 09 Honda Rincon, thats total $230 for both.

Maybe the xp's w/850cc is something the insurance companies want no part of. Still is a bit high IMO..

I know Geico will go extreme in their over pricing if they don't want it. When i was in the military, I was quoted $3500 a month to insure my Firebird with Liability only. I had a perfect driving record with no tickets or accidents. At the time, I only made $3000 a month and they knew that. Ever since that, I refuse to use Geico. IMO, they do not support our military.

If you cut out collision, and just have fire ,theft and comprehensive you rate will be cut by 2/3rds. If you crash just say it was stolen or caught fire who in the widerness will say different.LOL

You're getting robbed. I have everything (collision, uninsured, fire, theft, etc) on my new 500 Touring with a $500 deductible at $132 for a years coverage.

I got mine through AAA who also do my wifes car, my truck , and our house as well.

Just signed up with Progressive today for my 850xp....$102/year. No collision but comprehensive. Biggest thing I took off was Uninsured Motorist. In this state, there's a huge number of them and it drives rates sky high.
Cheers,

I pay @ $100/yr full coverage on my 09 800 through progressive. They have the best rates on bikes too. They are also quick to process claims. I totalled my Buell XB12R after I hit a deer last year and I had a check and a new bike in a little over a week!
