on my 2000 it had like 20 some. on my 08 7. rear L & R lower a-arms. front L & R lower a arms. the u-joints in the drive shaft from the tranny to the front dif. and a few other spots i cant rember. but i agree with ragelite. id rather grease things than repair. im shure they removed them cuz people either dont want to grease, to lazy, or dont know what there for.

on my 00. it had grease spots on all the a-arm bushings, grease spots on the front ball joints, the rear sway bar "one on each side", i also had grease spots on the front L/R innner drive shafts "the new 08s are cv boots now".

if you wanted to add grease spots. im shure you could. youd just have to find out where the oem grease zerks were. and see if they would stil work there. and either drill and tap the spot for a threaded grease zerk, or drill and weld a threaded nut or sumthing there for it to work. im shure it possable.

I think that you will be OK with using the stock set up of 3 zerks unless you are going to put it through some extreme use. Trucks these days dont have a zerk on them to be found....I have 310hrs on mine with the 3 zerk set up and there is absolutly zero play on any bushings.....These are "greaseless" bushings. You are probably better off in the long run being able to grease joints but you should be fine with out by design.

Polaris when to sealed bearings, ujoints and seals. Once the parts were out I would buy replacement parts with fitting when possible. Sealed factory ball joints on trucks do not last like the replacement ones you have to grease because once the seal give in in the slightest its a slow guaranteed death.

If you need replacement parts they will come with extra zerks. I had to replace my front A-arm and it has a place to grease it.
