Power is not everything...I've owned a 800 and while I loved it at the time after having the XP for a while now I can honestly say that I would pick a XP550 over the 800 if the 850 was not a choice even if the price was the same. It has that much going for it over the old Sportsmans....the list of stuff that is better about the XP is substantial IMO. One of those things that you have to spend some time on the machines to understand.
