I'm going to be racing a 300ex on my scrambler 400 2x4 in about 4 weeks. The only mod. he has is a pro circuit pipe, I'm thinking this race is going to be a joke, I should win.

Well anyways do you think I'll win and how much money should I put on this, I need new front tires.

You'd better win! I beat up on a piped and jetted 2000 300ex last fall. Not on the track but kicked his @ss in a drag race and top end. I also beat him in a sand hill race even in 2wd!

do you know the guy well, are you positive that is the only mod he has done, maybe he has a piston and cam kit or something else you cant see, and is just waiting for you to put up some money, hopefully you'll just waste him though, i had a 300 ex and wasnt impressed with its power

I have a 2000 Scrambler 400 2x4 with Vforce, wisco-.020, self porting, k&n, piped and I'll holeshot & stay in front of a piped and k&ned 400ex. You better take a 300ex or your unit is in need of some major tuning!

Can you say SNUFF ???
Clean your air filter, check your jetting, put in a new spark plug, lube the chain and don't fill the fuel tank ( additional weight ).
Bet only what you can afford to loose.

Hey Scramdaddy! glad to see you got legitimate answers, not like on that "other" forum where people are so unfriendly. I"M sure you"ll beat the pants off him for the greater glory of polarises everywhere, but, yeah, take that advice and make sure your machine is all tuned up and ready. Good Luck!!!

I agree with baja boy they always trash you on the other forum and its really not fair, I own a 99 sport 400 and it can take the holshot on a 400ex but i can't stay in front, iam sure you will beat him.

What kind of race is this? Drag? MX? You will win in the Drag, but I dunno about a MX. Do you have any mods?

Bajaboy I would like to thank you and the rest who responded intellegently to this topic. As you were saying about the "other" forum, your right it is filled with idiots, you can't even talk trash in the flame forum.

Thanks for your post!!!

Pearelcancan it was extremely unfair for them to talk trash to me, but when I did it the next thing I know I see a message in my inbox that says posting warning, go figure.
