Is there any way to check to see which flash version I have on my 850XP? The dealer has told me that it has the latest version but thought I'd verify this.

I would like to know that as well for my 08' Sportsman. Yea where do you go to find out this kind of info.? Can you buy an adaptor to interface the Quads computer to like a laptop?

 

it is going to be in the diag screen...not sure how to get there tho... at yes you can buy an adaptor/software to interface a computer to your ecm on the atv..but from what i hear it is rather pricey!

Page 3.3 in the FSM lists part numbers etc... The site above is a bit crude and I haven't done much surfing on it to get a good handle on how all this is done. I didn't find anywhere in the FSM how to access the diagnostics screen, only how to read codes but to do that it appears you have to have the CEL showing.

From what I have found out to access the ECM data you have to have the Digital Wrench software(dealer only item) and the patch cable. Also that is apparently the only way to tell if you have the latest flash.
