Unhappy Replacment of Sportsman 500 A-frame bushings

I am in the process of changing out the worn out bushings and A-arm rod on both sides of my 2000 Sportsman 500. I was reading the service manual to see torque specs and it has a big warning on the telling you not to reuse the bolts that you take off as the locking mechanism was destroyed in removing them and to get new bolts. Is this true or was it just loctite that they use and want to make sure you are using the right kind? If so which loctite grade should I replace it with ?
