03 sportsman 90 probs

starts and runs fine for 5-10 mins then craps out.wait an hour or two and does the same thing.could it be getting hot and shutting down or something? any help would be appreciated by the kids and keep the off my back

When it dies does it have any spark? Pull the plug right after it dies and ground it to the head and see if it has spark when you turn it over, if not I would say its the stator.
