Default NGK Part Number

OK so I want to use NGK's instead of Champion which is what the dealer gave me and what Polaris calls for in my bike. But I seem to come across 2 different part numbers when try to cross ref plugs. Ive even gone to NGK's website and it does not list my 2004 Sportsman 600 twin. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Looked on bike bandit and it takes the same plug as the 700, that is a BKR7E NGK number.

You wont see much of any difference in what plug you pick if your engine/carb is workin properly. I have never changed a plug in any of my ATV's. My 2004.5 has 2000 miles and 300hrs with the orginal plug. You dont go changing the plugs in your car, only after like 75,000 miles. Just my 2 cents.

Makes sense. I guess Im just looking at the small things right now and wanting to make sure that I have the bike running the best I can. So far I have to say I am happy with it and the way it runs. I just have one small complaint and thats when Im driving theres a small rattle from the front right somewhere, sounds like something might be lose and when I go hard enough I hear it. lol or it could be just me being picky.

Seems like the machines have alot of vibration sounds due to the high amount of plastics. There is alot of plastic on plastic spots on the ATV. Mine is worse at slow speed in high gear.

At the higher altitudes here in Nevada the local Polaris dealer uses NGK and finds the 5 rating runs cleaner. I just got one from them yesterday that I plan to install this weekend.
