Default fan not running at full pwer

I have a 2005 sportsman 700 efi and it kepts over heating I have replaced the temp sensor and therostat and fan . My friends has a 2005 700 carb and his fan run so much stronger and longer then mine . I have the repair book for it and it said to unplug the temp sensor and the fan should run and the hot light should flash . I unpluged it and the fan ran for about a min then quit and the hot did not flash. My friend unpluged his and it kept running and the hot light did flash and his have a lot more power then mine . I check the fan relay and it seem good . I am think ecu . anyone have any ideals

first off, is it really overheating? if it is then the fan is not the problem, your radiator fins are plugged. remove entire front bumper or brushguard, only 4 bolts, then pressure wash the radiator. keep nozzle at least a foot away from radiator, it is nessecary to remove front end or you only wash about 20 percent of your radiator. keep water going through radiator until no more dirt comes out of cooling fins. this should fix your problem, and show all of your polaris riding buddies, they will eventually have the same problem you had if you ride the same places.

if radiator is not plugged off leave a reply and I will help you with diagnosis.

I have already took the radiator out and pressure washed it . the fan is running very slow . and some times my speedo does not work right. I have change the fan temp sensor and thermostat and the fan still runs slow and it run for only about 30 sec and shuts off it does run as long and fast as my friends 700 . I check the fan relay and it seems good and clean. thanks for the help i need it

My next step would be to check the voltage at the fan when you say it is running slow.....Caper...............
