does anyone actually have one of these? if you do. how do you like it? is it a torque machine like Polaris claims? performance wise, how does it compare to the sportsman 500? any info would be helpful. thankz

 

My friend used to have one he siad that it would go through more than his new 500 Sportsman would it had all the torque that you ever needed but it would only go like 40-45mph tops. But the engine flew apart and got rebuilt on warranty and the dealer told them that it might only last 300 miles or maybe at the most 2000

 

did the engine have a defect or is the polaris diesel a weak engine design?

 

.........the dealer told him .....300 miles...most 2000...!!!
The dealer meant after a repair in HIS shop is done.....the motor may last 300 miles, THAT would be understandable.

 

That was after it got fixed I think that it was a defect but it might have been a weak engine also it but that might have just been the dealership because it was also there for about 2 months before it got fixed and there have benn some bad stories about that dealership
