Besides Armor All, what do you all use to protect and dress your quads? The repair tech at the dealership suggested Pam.

Anyway, other than the decals, what parts should I NOT spray?

Yeah, they told me that it would help the dirt come off easier. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't gonna mess up anything.

I use STP Son-Of-A-Gun Protectant. You can spray everything on the quad. I makes it look really nice and mud just slides off. I wouldn't spray the rims because of dust. Obviously, you don't want to spray the seat.

Hey MOUSIN getting the polaris dirty already.
I use the silicon stuff to on everything but the body plastic, reason is it leaves a film that stays wet and it can collect dirt and dust fast.

For that I use turtle wax formula 2001 (original not ultimate shine) it works really well to clean and bring the shine back to your plastic. Protecting your machine from UV rays that can fade the plastic is also a plus too.

LONG LIVE POLARIS!!!

WD40 works very well, Ive used it on everything but the seat of course. It also helps to wipe the exhaust down after a ride, it smokes for a few seconds next time you start up but it really helps to retard rust. I have also tried mop n glow on the body panels, it seems to let the mud let loose a little better than some waxes but not as well as the WD.

I've tried a few things, but the best treatment is powerwash then use a plastic scotch pad or scourer soaked in gas for the plastic then wipe over with a gas soaked rag. You dont have to scrub it everytime you go out just when it gets ground in dirt. then let it dry and spray the whole thing over with W.D40 and put it away.It protect's the electrical seals against rust and will keep your plastic good looking and flexible so it wont break.Buy the W.D40 in a gallon can and put it into a hand sprayer or you'll spend a lot of money buying it in an aerosol can.
Later.
