Well I ran them all at 3 pounds of air and they seemed to perform flawless in snow. I think I could run them empty they hold pretty solid. Pretty much floated right across the field and ditches that was right after we received 15" of snow. Just a few stops were I fell through, but was able to back up without a issue. I just stayed off the throttle and let it walk. When you get on it the tires throw snow great and it helps that they are light with the power. I haven't felt the need to look at a clutch kit or anything as of yet. I'll keep testing them and leave you guys feedback.

Ive been running these mud gears all summer and I love them!!! Good on the hard trails, great on rocks and even better in the mud!! I just put a clutch kit in because I could feel the bike wasnt working like it should with those tires on.

Blackwater,

Looks like you flipped the tie-rods? They are dang close thats for sure. Wouldnt take much and that would pack full of mud.

I wonder if it would be worse with a 25" tire? Wouldnt the wider part of the tire be lower, thus making contact with the TRE?

I am wanting the 25's for my 02 500 SP....

Thanks for the pics BTW> Looks great.

I was thinking the same thing. Looks like will have to see if mud gets packed in between the tie-rods and tires. Any tire smaller or bigger is going to come with issues I'm just glad we were able to fix it. All I have to say is smaller tires may require spacers just by the looks of it.

I just ordered my Zillas. I got the same size as the factory tires for my 02 SP. Fronts are 25x8x12 & 25x11x10 for the rear. Ordered from Onoffroad.com. Got all 4 for $247 w/free shipping. Cheapest I could find on the net.

Im gonna re-paint my factory rims black, and then mount them. I cant wait!!!

Hopefully they shouldnt rub since I got the 8" wides insted of the 9"s. Time will tell....

later...
