While I was searching the archives for info about front struts/springs on my 425 magnum,I saw that Frontrunner? posted something about an easy spring compression method for replacing front struts.Anyone know of it or a method a guy can do at home?
My front struts are SHOT and changing them is unfamiliar turf to me.
I also searched for info regarding crossing over the part number on the strut to something I can buy at my local NAPA.
Anyone have any luck doing this?
I do not like either of the dealerships in my area, and besides they must be made by one of the major manufacturers.

use two rachet straps to compress the springs, also support the steering knuckles so the front half shafts won't be pulled out of the front diff.
