Polaris Sportsman 600 Crank
#1
OK im looking into buying a 03 polaris sportsman 600, the guy said 1 of the connecting rods was going bad (he has the engine down) and i was looking on the parts diagrams and it doesn't seem like you could pull it apart to replace it, what the hell!!! And there doesn't seem to be any replacement parts on the net. Attached is the crank diagram

I'm pretty sure the Crank and Connecting Rods
are all one assembly, I've never seen one in pieces before.
I believe it can be dissasembled, but it's scrap afterwards.
I was told it was a balancing issue. The rods and Crank are supposed to be
replaced as an assembly always. I remember it's like 800 bucks for a new assembly.
Maybe look for a good used assembly?
