I think you need a bearing puller. Check out the Tusk Blind Hole Bearing Remover Part# 1219080001 at Rocky Mountain ATV.

I purchased one recently, and wouldn't do another wheel bearing swap without it--really makes the job quick and easy.

RMAtv has a You Tube video of the tool in operation. A link to the video is provided at the RMAtv ad for the remover, or you can access it from the RMAtv service videos on their home page.

well i went ahead and did the heat gun trick.... in to much of a rush to wait on a tool just heated the wheel hub and beat the bearing out from the back side of it and they came right out. put the bearings in the freezer for awhile and heated the hub back up a little bit and the bearings droped right in.... it worked out really well! and saved my self a lil cash from buyin the tool

Save the old bearings to use for your next replacement. I grind down the race a bit all the way around and then use them to pop the old one's out with my hydraulic press. Works really well.

I have always used a press of some sort. In my work shop I usually just use the vise. If its something bigger than I will go somewhere and use their press.
