Smile Warn provantage plow system Installl PICTS

System installed pretty easily, hardest part was installing the mounting bracket on the ATV, that took about 1.5 hours. I also noticed that way the winch is mounted and the front brush guard that the cable rubs. So temporarily cut a piece of PVC pipe and laid it over the beam on brush guard where it rubs.

Once the snow starts flying I will prob just remove the front brush guard. The trip springs are heavy duty and should work good for pushing snow. For the dirt I tested it on I needed some extra anti-trip action to I added some tarp straps. I worked the blade pretty hard and it held up just fine. If I would tried this with a Polaris blade it would of been bent all to hell.

nice pics. you had better hope those rubber tie-straps don't let go from the blade and come-up and wack you in the face! LOL!

I wonder why you can't adjust the tension on the springs? On my old Galcier2 I could. In fact I did after 1/2 the winter season when they started to stretch-out.

How easy/difficult is it to remove/mount the blade for when you want to go trail riding or whatever?

Could you perhaps get some pics of the end of the push tubes that attaches to the mount, and of the mount itself, I have a warn with pin mount, and was wandering if I wouldn't make something up similar to what yours has

Well I finished my install of the plow this morning. I can lift the bottom of the blade off the ground 26"!!!!......That is even higher than my old glacier 2 system. Now we just need snow so I can test it out.

Deputy swan-----Not sure if your is different or not. But where you have the winch hooked to on mine the cable just slides through(kind of a pulley system) and the hook hooks up to the plow mount more toward the machine.Mine is on a xp though so that could be the difference.
