glacier edge

i made a plow for mine 1 1/2yrs ago. last winter was the first times useing it. i had a 4" x 1/4 wear bar on it. i used it to plow 2 driveways 6 or so times a month. so far its wore down 1/4.
making your own bar will be about $10 or so $$$$$$. and just go buy someplane old nuts and bolts. i used 1/4" nuts and bolts on mine. you will need a bit bigger ones.

Last year my Glacier2 wear bar did not last long and scratched the hell out of my new stamp-crete conrete driveway so I bought a PLASTIC cutting edge from Warn and bolted that in it's place.
2 things I found I like about the plastic edge:
-Obviously it doesn't scratch the driveway as much.
-It doesn't rip-up the grass that I plow!! It skims right over the grass that the metal edge used to dig-up chunks and start re-grading!LOL.

My local Popo dealer ordered it for me. I would assume it's on Warn's website but I never took the time to look for it.
For my application (stamp-crete driveway and a little grass!LOL!) I find it to work VERY well.
