Default Polaris Trail Boss 330 Brake HELP

Hello, I just bought a 2005 trail boss 330 for $800, everything works great except for the brakes. When I push the pedal for the rear brake it does absolutely nothing. There seems to be no pressure or resistance on the pedal. I am not sure where to looks or what to try. Under the seat the brake fluid is topped off to the top. Please help I would really like to ride.

Thanks, John

the the brake handle work and stop you? this should control front and back brakes. the foot brake controls the back only and isn't a very good set up on alot of the polaris models. sometimes bleeding the rear brake works and other times you could put a heavy object on the foot peddal and leave it on overnight and sometimes that will help build pressure up again. just a couple of thoughts.

I agree this works. try weighing the pedal down overnite first, then bleeding the brakes. I drained the fluid all out and replaced the fluid (all) on my son's 2004 model. It needed replacing was dark!!!!! Have not had a hicup since.......

Ok thanks guys, I will try putting pressure on it today. One thing, I noticed when i bought it the pedal was stuck down so i pulled it back up, it popped up and there is no resistance now. I dont know if the pedal being stuck down for a long time might have caused something?

Thanks guys,

I like to raise the rear of the machine so the caliper is above the pedal. This gets the air to the highest point faster-easier

leave the cap off the master cylinder while bleeding, will help move fluid, kinda a pain to bleed these.
