Looks like you dealer is right, the efi 700 is A05MH68"AC" The 700 AK,AN and AD are the only ones on the list.Polaris Industries Expands Recall of ATVs Due to Fire Hazard

On your ATV it will not have a rad sensor, the fan switch runs by sensor #1.

This happened to me last year, I had a air lock, you can tell by the ATV coolant over heating and steaming out the over flow bottle yet the lower RAD hose is cold and soft, while the top rad hose is hot and hard.
I took out my thermostat (#3 in pic) and check it by putting in in boiling water and it open up fine so I put it back in.

Turn out I did not burp the system correctly. Here how you do it. Loosen the hose to part #4 let it leak any trapped air and re tighten it back on. with rad cap off and over flow bottle at full mark, add coolant to the rad slowly while squeezing the rad coolant hoses (helps purge air) .
start atv and the rad level should go down, add coolant (slowly) to re fill rad,and rock the atv side to side, this will burp out any trapped air,add more coolant if needed. Put rad cap back on and let ATV warm up.

The lower hose should now be hot if the system has no air lock.top off over flow bottle if needed.

I have the themal switch in the rad set up,so with a air lock and no water flow, hot water never reached my rad sensor to tell the fan to kick on.

Great info TLC...I'm particularly interested in this thread because I have the same year and model Sportsman...I haven't had any problem like this but it's good to know ahead of time...I'll definitely be printing your post and keep it...Thanks again...
