trailblazer leaking gas from vent on bottom of carb

trailblazer leaking gas from vent on bottom of carb
Hi there.....
I have an '03 Trailblazer and a '97 Trailblazer.
On the '03, gas leaks out of the vent on the bottom of the carb. The '97 is fine, no gas leaks out. But if I take the carburetor off the '97 and put it on the '03, I get the gas leak.
So no matter what carb is on the '03, I am getting the gas leak.
The carbs have been cleaned thoroughly, floats are moving freely.
Can anybody please explain why this is happening?
