Sportsman 700
My friend has a Sportsman 700 that the engine light stays on. Checked the codes on the EFI and came up with 41: Intake air temp sensor: short circuit to ground, 41: intake air temp sensor: open or short circuit to + sensor voltage and 46: Barometric pressure sensor: circuit high input. Does this mean that the Temperature and Barometric Air Pressure Sensor(T-BAP) is bad and needs to be replaced or is something else going on here. Any feed back is appreciated. Thanks.

If it's an '05 they ran the harness under the breather hose that goes from the valve cover to the airbox and it rubs on top of the throttle body and wears thru the wires on the harness. It will cause some problems, especially if it wears thru more. Pull the harness and flip it over and look closely at the wires. If they are worn thru, Polaris makes a kit to fix the harness where you cut the old one off and put the new one on..If I remember correctly the part # is 2875542 from Polaris...
