scrambler vs wolverine?

Hard to believe that, must be a personal thing.....I've ridden MANY hours on two different Scramblers and I hated the handling of them.....Rear suspension was good on both, but the front end does not have the same response as an A-Arm machine.....

And since just about EVERY ATV on the planet is now featuring A-Arms, including things that Polaris themselves used to use MCP Struts on I would think it means something.....Even Polaris knows A-Arms are better or they would not be going away from the strut.....

The strut is softer, maybe smoother....but they react like crap when pushed hard.

Set of FOX or Works struts make a big differance.

Get on a Yamaha Big Bear or a 450 Foreman and they must ride like a dream.

The Can-Am Renegade is the top dog of sport/utilities. Polaris needs to catch up. Hopefully we'll see something from Polaris for 2011, or is it too soon to talk about 2011s?

I doubt it. They aren't a huge seller to begin with. I think the most current updates are going to be the Scrambler we see for a while.

I think yamaha should put a 700 fi in the wolverine to try to compete with the renegade 800. That would be sweeeeeeet!

go for the Wolverine 350. lots of performance upgrades available and its light weight. you still get to shift as well. I bought mine in 2001 and was also looking at the scrambler 400 and 500 at the time. I have a polaris trailboss 325 which is basically on the same chasis setup as the scrambler.

There even considered a utility? They do not even have a rack.

I would say at least the Renies are sport/ute, they come with a low gear, and a small flat storage area with tie-downs built in right behind the seat. The Wolverine and Scrambler are more Sport 4x4. Kymco released a new Sport 4x4, the Maxxer 375, 4wd, fully independent suspension front and rear, but an air-cooled 375cc four stroke for power, and it weighs like 590lbs.
