Winch dilema continued on RSE SP500

I have the double-tube brush guard and A2000 winch. In order to free spool the winch, I have to reach up under and behind the bumper... it is a pretty tight fit. I suspect that since you have to plug in that 12' cord, there may not be enough room to do so with the double-tube bumper. The winch doesn't mount to the bumper, so that isn't relevant. Since the only difference between the A2000 and A2500 is the solenoid and remote, the only conclusion I can draw is the one stated above... hope this helps!

The remote does not plug directly into the winch. It has a seperate plug that you can mount anywhere.

The poweer cord receptacle mounts alongside the radiator frame, and may or may not be an issue.

There is a tubular winch bumper that attaches between the roller fairlead and winch as I understand.

Sorry for taking so long to get back, had a brain fart. There is no differance in the outside dimensions of the 2000 or the 2500 winch. If it wasn't for the decal you would not be able to tell them apart.
