Studs ended up being good the lugs are the weak link. They strip out with to many on and offs. Just ended up buying more.

do not torq them to 90ft lbs. im telling ya..... i change my tires and rims spring and fall on my 08 sp 500. steel rims winter, alum rims summer. last yr was the first yr i had to replace like 6 studs and lugnuts going back to alum rims. along with a new rim. but after talking to the dealer. the book is incorect. i torq mine at like half that now and check so often. as when i was tighning them up at 90. they would strip "lugnut" then bend the stud and wreck the threads. it evon did that on the new lug nuts and studs. yes there really soft. i reused my lugnuts, studs and rim and turned it into a clock.

Just a note on this....

AIR TOOLS SEVERELY SHORTEN THE LIFE OF NUTS AND STUDS!!!! If you must, they are OK to remove but don't be lazy, use a ratchet and a torque wrench on install.

ALSO, This isn't just on ATVs either. Air tools and idiots running them in tire shops, ruin too many studs and nuts to count in autos too!!!!!!
