Default 2005 polaris 500 ho backs wheels making noise

I have a 2005 polaris 500 ho and my back wheels are making a poping noise. I jacked it up and all lug nuts are tight and wheels nut is tight. Both back wheels are loose, they both have play in the lower boots. Im wondering if it is cv joints. Both are doing the same thing. Any advise would be great and how hard it would be to do it myself. Thanks

welcome to the forum/ sounds like the cv joints are bad as thats the tell tale sound they make like a popping or clicking noise. read the sticky thread on how to work on the cv's.
