Best snow setup??

If the snow condition say "No ATV beyond this point" It does not matter what tires you buy the ATV will high center and get stuck. No ATV without tracks will float on snow without a hard base.

i use to have a honda 450 foreman , i swore that mud bugs were one of the ultimate snow and mud tires, the trick is to know when to hammer down or no when to let off the gas and walk with your machine until the time is right , good luck.... i think the big horns would be good too

R", this is the first time I've done this, but others I know say they pull them out each spring and re-install any that are still in reasonable condition the next winter. There are some guys around here that have a seperate set of tire for winter and still others that run the studs year round (they work awesome for climbing over logs). I'm pulling all my studs out in the late spring.

I had my original PXT's studded very agressive. It will not help when it is sitting high on snow with the wheels tuning in the air, but it certainly keeps it from tailfishing on icy road and will push snow (60" plow) whitout any issue.
I use it for hunting and plowing only and in the fall the studds also become very handy to provide traction over fallen trees, roots etc...
