Clutch headache--Any ideas?????
#12
I have all ready dissassembled the secondary clutch again and found nothing wrong with it, with the primary I have checked the one-way and shim and it is in specs, I have tried different springs and checked the weights, I think it is more in the alignment, It may be possiable the gauge is screwed up, but im not sure.

I am thinking the same, I may have bought a bad alignment tool, it is for a Polaris EBS clutch system, but with it set up correct I have a bad creep, if I shift the motor a certain way and leave 1 shim behind the secondary it seems like the creep is gone but the gauge is way way off. I hate to buy another one this one cost $50 bucks. If it is bad it has already cost me several hundred dollars for new clutchs

Might ask over at Quadsquad. There's a guy named Cob who knows his clutches pretty well. Polaris - Forum Powered by Social Strata
