Default New X2 HD Front springs.....

Howdy all.....I asked in a previous thread about the front sag on my 2007 500X2....had a lot of good replies. I decided to go with the Polaris HD front springs. (Thanx for the offer RickCJ7, had to buy from my dealer for the brownie points). The new HD springs are installed and I do say......it was a cakewalk, very easy to do. The front storage has 25 lbs of gear that stays with me at all times, ATV-Guru front bumper and a Polaris 2500 winch....about 55 lbs total. The X2 front ground clearance with gear is now 10 3/4 inches compared to 9 1/4 inches before with the sag. Now for the ride......it is a little more stiff but it turns easier.....and when I turn sharply, the front end does not dip. The riding was done at the Mojave Desert and there is a lot of washes and whoops.....a lot of whoops. I did not bottom out on the front end at all. It actually handles much better all the way around...especially with the road trail on a side hill with a high center in the middle. Having the extra ground clearance makes a big difference...no more hitting rocks that I thought should clear. I drove 131 miles with the new HD springs and it gave me more confidence in my riding....knowing how it will handle instead of it handling me.......NoJoke

Yep, same as I feel about the new springs. Great improvement. Glad you like the ride better.

as a 07 X2 500 owner I also installed the polaris HD (cause I missed out on a great deal on ebay from EPI) dang last second bidders. ha ha. I only have a winch on the front with some gear and it works 100% better than before. no more feeling like you are going to roll and steering is a lot easier.
