1997 Sportsman 500 no spark

Default 97 sportsman 500 no spark

Thanks for all the help checked all wires and switches, but still only one spark when you let go of the starter button or turn the kill switch. I think I'm going to try a different trigger coil the one i have is new but its different from the stock one. Any other suggestions would be great, Thanks again.

Yes it sucks but Polaris does not sell the Pulse/trigger coil separately from the Stator.

I had and dirty pulse coil not allow my ATV to start with the electric start but it did start with the pull rope for some reason. After I cleaned the magnetic face of the Pulse coil of metal filings and reset its gap to the flywheel it ran normally once more.

Thanks for the help. Yellow wire to the stator had a bad connection. The sportsman runs again.
