Snow Plows - Front or Center Mount?
#21
Can you post some pics of the Warn installed and how it angles? What was the cost, if you don't mind saying?

Malt King...
I think one of your concerns is ground clearance due to mounting brackets when not plowing...Just be aware that even with the push tube, center mount, there is a bracket that bolts to the frame as well...Mine only hangs down slightly but I take it off after plow season...Mine is the Cycle Country mount...Just a heads up...

sorry these r not the best pics i took them with my phone and thankfully we don't get a whole lot of wet heavy snow here or i think it would be a bit much, for sure power is never an issue and i weigh 300 plus and have 28 589 m&s tires on but still run out of traction in real deep snow it has settings on the plow to adjust angle i have mine maxed seems to work real good

sorry it was about $550 dollars for everything i am sure it could be found cheaper but i like to go through my local guys so paying a little extra doesn't bother me also all you have to do when you want to unhook or hook up is pull the two frame pins they are just pins with little srpings on them and another pin for the winch rope and your done takes a minute maybe also i put a short synthetic rope and the bigger fairlead on soon after as my cable only lasted for a week or so. the rope seems to work better anyways cause you don't have 50' of cable if you want more pics i sure can go take some and post them

I have the front mount on my Thundercat but in order to change the front diff fluid its got to be taken off...(Its WARN and its a pretty poor design for my application..I know they are not all like that tho) And believe me the installation of it was not easy...(I actually had to modify it even tho it was the correct part no.) I am taking it off this spring and leaving it off until next fall...My buddy has a center mount on his Foreman 500 and it hits on EVERYTHING!...Thats why I didnt go with the center mount..
