Xp lock in load inside

Sweet. What about the nasty gas and oil from that saw! All over your stuff....it must stink to high heavens. Maybe get the saw out of there. Must work for you though. There's some cool external chain-saw holders people have fabricated. Might be worth a search.

I look at the rear box as a small tool box only! If I have to get into it IM usually in trouble. 028 Sthil Chainsaw I had to remove the handle (no problem four small screws} so I could get the lid shut.I have to carry this saw at all times because of all the down trees(beetle kill) that we have now.If you ever owned a Sthil saw old or new the ones I have owned do not leak gas or oil. The heavy items are strapped in and do not move too. When winter is over I will have the metal detector inside minus the jackets. I have been concerned about the extra weight when going on fast trails because there are only two latch locks. Im going to install another latch lock inside the box as a third support. Keep the rubber latch lock clean so they can grip better.

I've owned 2 Sthil saws....they all stink like gas and oil when they're used. The underside of the saw gets filled with oily wood chips that get all over the place. Sounds like it works for you if you spend the time to clean it up real good, or all the wood you're cutting is super dry......good deal.
