My 08 Sportsman has stopped starting with the ignition switch. While plowing snow this winter it started acting up and only starting intermittently. Now it won't start with the switch at all? The speedo/dash all come on all other electrics seem fine and a pull on the starter rope fires it up, but nothing happens when I turn the ignition switch,dash comes on self check runs, everything appears fine - no starter - no click . Checked wires in headlight pod, found nothing ? moved shift lever, tried holding on brake, still nothing. any ideas?

 

Still not working, any ideas out there? DO not have 12v to small wire in middle of solenoid, checked ignition switch, looks to be ok? have 12v at yellow wire on ign switch and 12v on red/black when turned on, but no voltage on anyother wire at ign switch?

 

so when you turn the key on to the start postion you don't have power to the small wire on the solenoid? so if you were to jump the 2 big cables on the solenoid w/ the key on it will turn the starter over right?
