The switch I had ordered came in and I was very surprised to see the new replacement part. I have the 1997 polaris sportsman and the switch was mad of thin plastic. I couldnt belive how poorly it was assembled and how a switch that small controlled that much. The new one came yesterday and it looks way more sophisticated and sturdy. I havn't had time to put it in yet, but I sure hope it solves my problem. In the meantime, I tried wiring the AWD by bypassing the switch, but only the front left tire would kick in. I hope that isnt a diferent problem I have. For all I know though, I could have wired it incorrectly. Anyways, I am just happy to see they substitued the new part for the old one.
