Default wider rear tires for my scrambler

i was looking to put new tires on my 97 scrambler 500, i was looking at the bear claws because i like the tread pattern and the price but the problem is the stock rear tires on the scrambler are 22x11x10 and the bear claws comes in a 22x12x10. so the question is can the stock rims fit the 12in wide tires. every where i check it keeps changing so any help will be great thanks

i put the 22x12x10 on my sport 400(2 wheel drive,2 stroke version of yours) on the stock rims.you'll really like the bearclaws, you'll be able to go farther in 2 wd than before. the tires wear flat but you can tell the rim is almost too skinny for the tire,at the time i couldn't find any wider than stock rim width, you might be better off finding the 22x10x10 bearclaws.
on stock rims w/4lbs. air the 22x12 is 21" tall

I put 26x12x12 on 7.5 inch rims. The look kinda round but work just fine. They were a bitch to mount even with the tire machine at work.
