Default Problem with Hawkeye 300

My daughters hawkeye 2006 keeps on flooding, the gas goes threw even when off, I had it serviced at a repair shop without sucess, I even installed a brand new carb and still doing it, This started gradual and now you can empty the fuel tank within 1hr. Need help trying to get ready for mud run. Also the vent tube on the carb are not connected anywere?? were should they go?
Thank you

Is the float sticking down in the carb? I had a terrible time with my '06 Haweye doing that when I first got it. The float would stick and it would flood out and not run. The dealer would take it apart and could find no reason why it was doing it. A brand new carb even did it. I don't know why it works, but they switched the factory Polaris fuel filter for and inline automotive type filter and cured the problem. The old girl has 7000 miles on it and I haven't had any flooding issues with it for a long time.

welcome to the forum. i agree w/ ranchrocket as it sounds like a sticking or non correctly set float. werid that a new carb would have the same issue??

I adjusted float assembly with less adjustment and changed gas filter for a car inline filter and it works ,I assume the new carb was ready to go, I wish I would of joined this group sooner.

Be sure change the oil, it may be diluted.
