2000 325 trail boss need help

Got one for mine on ebay. Factory manual shipped for 25 bucks.
One thing I'd do is go here and sign up for the Polaris Riders page. Once you've done that, you can download a parts catalog for the quad for free. One nice thing about having it on a disk along with the factory manual is you can read the manual and print out the breakdown. Then you're only getting the page you printed greasy.
The trail boss is a good quad. Not gonna be a racer, not gonna go through a mud bog, but gonna go just about everywhere you'll want it to.

Ok, one big brain fart here.
For some reason I was thinking you had an 2002, not an 2000.
So the lever on the choke is gonna lay flat to the left for off, stick up for half and flip over to the right for full choke.
The panel you'll need to remove on the left side below the tank will have a large phillips head screw on the left front corner as you look at it. You can slide it off after that. Kinda hooks on the right side, you'll see that as you're trying to get it off.
Once that's off, you see the two cables for the choke and accelerator. You should also see what looks like a bulging rubber cover on them. It kinda rolls back and you'll see how it has a little wheel you can turn for adjustment. I'm sure there's some technical term for what that's called.
Normally, I had the manual here at work, but sold the quad to a nephew and gave it to him. It sure is a lot easier to explain while you're looking at it.
I'd try those adjustments first. Mainly be cause it's easiest and because the carb itself is no picnic to take off. Not from a technical standpoint, just have to take off a lot of stuff to get to it.
Keep posting what you find, and I'll try to use my memory of what all I did to mine and how I got to it.

Scooter,I check the choke it is fine,I tore the carb out cleaned it and checked everything in there no dirt,the needle seat looks good,check vent tubes free and clear,I checked the valves adjustments and they are good.I did adjust on the throttle cable some,it didn't seem right,I will have to let it cool and see how it idles when it is cold.Also what temp is the fan supppose to kick on at? my oil cooler was reading 140 deg. and the fan didn't kick on?Thanks for your help so far.

I have a 2000 Magnum 325.-- same engine! The cooling fan does not come on until 240 deg. and HOT light not until 290 deg. They run hot compaired to a liquid cooled engine. I had to run mine for like 30 mins + to get it hot enough to get fan to kick on.
I may have a small air leak on intake boot when it warms up. I did on mine. I sprayed starter fluid on the boot and found it leaking where it attaches at engine. If you spray it and your idle goes up you have a leak. If no change in idle speed then no leak.
