Idle issues
#2
welcome to the forum. by any chance is the carb or gas tank got dirt in it where it might have clogged the idle circuit? how does it throttle up from idle to trail speed? does it come out of it or just die unless you hold the throttle?

Thanks for the help,it is very likely the gas may have junk in it kentucky fuel is very bad
From idle to wide open is great response but if i do not continually tap the throttle while coasting it dies
Where on the carb is the idle circuit and how might i clean it
thanks again

you might need to cheak the cable itself. Right where it goes thru the handle bars there is and adjustment. I would open that just a little. There is a saftey cut off in the throttle assembly you might just be tripping that.
