08 Polaris Sportsman 500 EFI Touring Clutch Kit

Now you have me thinking, is it 7400 or 6400, if the latter then I am Ok and within spec but if 7400 then I am grossly over rev'd and need to find out what is happening inside the clutch cover.
Too bad they did not have recall like my sled has!
Let me figure out what the facts are and I will post again and from that I can make a decision as to what to do with clutching. Nice to see that someone has the rpm specs. I am not concerned with the speed but just want to insure that the clutches are shifting out. If they are, the speed is what it is.
Thanx

I have also been told that the new 550 XP runs with the old 800's so they must be pretty strong with the 850's a handfull.
Anyway, I will do a bit more reading and some more homework but it appears that a new drive clutch spring is in order and perhaps a set of weights. However, if I am getting shift out then perhaps a spring with the same set of stock weights will wake it up. I know that a driven clutch spring can make a world of difference on a sled.
