Couple of steering questions Scrambler
I am trying to sort out a 95 Scrambler. I bought it non running two years ago and just keep finding things to fix.
My first problem is and might be my problem. How do you set the camber on the front wheels? Top of both wheels are tipped in on top. How far are the strut cartridges supposed to be in the spindle(knuckle)?
My problem is when riding it has happened at least three times it grabs to the right and jerks the wheels. Almost sent me into a telephone box. I replaced the right half shaft (axle) spindle hub and bearings of another quad and problem is still there. It happens in 2 wheel drive. I have yet to try 4x4. This is supposed to be for my son but I cant have any one ride it this way. He guy I bought it from sold it because he said the brakes locked up and his buddy over the bars. When I got it, it had no wheel bearings left the spindle was bad and the hub rotor and caliper were shot. I replaced them then. And ideas you have would be great. I have 3 other gen 3s with no issues.
