alum. rims for scrambler 500, what fits ?
#1
im looking into getting a scrambler and one of the first things i want to do is change out the stock steel stamped rims........is there a quad that will interchange with the scrambler such as the predator without me having to buy special fit rims for this thing from ?
Also I once owned a warrior 350 with web cam, wiseco high compression piston, exhaust & jet kit, will i notice a drop in performace when going to the scrambler, that old warrior wouild haul some serious butt ?
One more question, will these things climb hills very well i weight 250# & dont want a slug or get stalled out ?
thanks in advance

Is it a 4wd? If so the front hub bolt pattern is a odd large diameter size. Make sure you stick with stock size tires,my friend when to 25" tires on his and it slowed the machines top end and acceleration.
The only hill that stopped him was steep ones which caused the ATV to flip backwards.

If its a 4wd, the larger front hub casing with the locking Hillary inside is the cause of the odd bolt pattern,on 2wds the front and back have the same bolt pattern ,I think.

Bolt pattern for the front should be 4/156mm and 4/4in on the rear.
I wouldnt change the size much in my opinion either.
This is from Mudthrowers.com wheel chart,
