leaking

Default leaking

new to atvs just bought 96 scrambler 4x4 got home and was riding and overflow tube poped off radiator put hose clamp on and filled radiator it did get hot and light came on but turned off quickly now it is leaking water at bottom of engine around two bolts can anyone help

There is a weep hole in the water pump at the bottom of the engine. When the seal goes on the water pump antifreeze will weep out of that hole. Maybe you ran the water pump dry and blew a seal.

is the weep hole is leaking, then most likely you need to replace the water pump. did the fan kick on before it over heated?

where exactly is the weep hole-fan did not come on but battery is dead and i have to pull start

i am a newbie -just ran engine and appears tb coming from two of the three bolts that appear to look like motor mounts at bottom of engine
