Then you only have a half volt draw which doesn't sound like much. Shouldn't be draining battery unless left for days. Batteries normally loose 1 percent daily if not used or not on a maintainer Yes neg lead of voltmeter is **** be on neg cable attached **** battery. OPT

just double checked it and now it's down **** .29 when testing as i described. so does that mean after sitting for 3 weeks the battery is junk becuase it won't hold the charge?

Sounds like it Stendori! This can be because of a cell starting **** sulfate and shorting out! OPT

that is good news and what i though orginally was wrong as it stars fine if you don' tlet it set for more then 2 weeks. i used **** let them set for 6 months and had no issue starting it but i guess my luck ran out. thanks big time opt for helping me out and making me feel better.

sten look into the gel filled batteries, I think they are much better, not much more expense, bought the last one at O'reilly's , it as a Deka brand , cost $110 for the 30L which is in the 6-7 and 800's

this sounds like a pinched wire to ground, or something like that. maybe after market lites if have any are leaking to ground. it would seem like it is a hot wire off the battery before the key?
