Question 2006 Sportsman 500 Problem

Im having a problem with my quad at work. It will run fine then all of a sudden start dieing then it will back fire and take off again. Also it seems like you cant get full throttle out of it. It surges kinda at full throttle. Im not sure what i should be looking for. I dont know if its something to do with the fuel injection or the computer? I pulled the plug and it looked fine but ill pick one up anyways. I also pulled the fuel line off and there seem to be lots of volume but not sure on the presure as i dont have a gauge. If anyone can point me in the right direction that be great.

Thanks Devin

Do a search.that has been discussed on here before..Was a wire that goes from the crankshaft position sensor(runs from your recoil to your ECU unit)that had rubbed on the red starter wire where they cross on top of motor under airbox...

Make sure both vent tubes are hooked to the airbox, tps may need to be set

special tool to set the tps, it may also be the wiring to the t - bap sensor, the sensor on your intake tube between the airbox and the throttle body, they had problems with the wires breaking on them, they sell a kit to repair it
