Rims, will they fit?

Maybe the back but not the fronts. The 2000's AWD Hub Assembly causes a larger dia. bolt pattern for the front rim. The 800's AWD Assembly is in the front diff. so the back and front rim bolt patterns are the same.
I,d still at least get the 800's back 12" rims to get away from the 2000's odd 10" rims, it will give you more tire selections for the future. Lots of clearance room at the back to play with so even a different rim offset should not matter.

Is the bolt pattern different? Or is it that the front hub sticks out so far that the new model rims won't seat?
I posed a similar question, but about upgrading the hubs on the 02 SP500 to fit the 08 SP800 wheels. I got the same response TLC gave about the AWD being controlled in the hub vs the diff.
IF (and that's a big if) the bolt pattern is the the same, I had come up with a workaround, but haven't gotten a chance to try it out yet. I was going to get wheel spacers and see how well the 08 wheels fit on my 02.
Now all this hinges on the bolt pattern staying the same...unless I got some custom adapters...but that's whole different story.
Anyway, Good luck!

So, that means my "workaround" might actually work. My 08 SP800 wheels have the center cap on them (not sure about TNT-Knut's 06, though). I could potentially knock those out, use 1" spacers (or possibly 1.5") and hopefully have the wheels fit It would be a good excuse to get bigger wheels on the 02, cuz I don't want it to look funny being extra wide with stock-ish tires. LOL

Ok, got it here. ATV Tire and Wheel Application Chart : ATV Tires Free Shipping : ATV Wheels : Mud-Throwers.com the 500 and 800 all have a 4/156 bolt pattern front and back,Hub AWD or front diff AWD set up. But the 800s front Hub hole will be to small for the 2000,s larger AWD hub even though the bolt pattens the same.
Good to go for the back wheel swap though.
