I have a insert to increase the 850 hitch to 2 inch's, it sticks back to far, drags to much and acts like a lever when the haul rack has a light load, front tires come off the ground to quick on steep hills.
Yea I hear ya on the center of gravity being an issue when my rack is loaded....Usually the deer goes on the front rack and the gear goes back there but had two deer on it one night, one on each rack and I definitely didn't like the uphill climbs...BTW...thanks for the kind words...

If you guys just take your time and take a few measurements, make a couple templates I'm sure you guys can do it...

For about $85.00 total , it is not worth my time measuring, cutting, grinding drilling, welding, then a few refeshments, when all I have to do is bolt on and ride.

I get more satisfaction out of building things myself....Plus I never have to worry about the quality as I know I overkill...Good luck...

Moose makes one that replaces the entire hitch and bolts on in place of the stock one.

Moose Utility Division - Product Catalog

I think there are a couple of other companies that make them too.

If you're just wanting a 2 inch conversion to slip into the 1 1/4 inch harbor freight has them cheap and they're decent quality. They show up as 16 bucks on the website but they sell as low as 10 bucks in their sale catalogs. I bought an adapter, shackle insert and 2 inch ball insert and it was around 30 bucks.

1-1/4" to 2" Hitch Adapter

It's too bad polaris wouldn't have just used a standard 2 inch hitch to begin with and saved everyone a lot of hassle.
